There is no doubts about the fact that content reigns supreme. If you have a good content, people are bound to find you out. But it has to be complimented with other efforts as well. Link Building whether one-way or reciprocal with similar sites can go a long way in this direction.
Great list of key points and thanks for the links! Optimizing keywords is always the first priority and good content that make readers like to have more information and that would link back to your site. Thus, making your site top ranker on search engines!
